The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing and automating data reporting solutions to support operational and strategic decision-making.
This role focuses on building scalable dashboards in AWS QuickSight and optimizing reporting processes through Redshift.
The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, ensure accuracy, and deliver actionable insights.
The role involves maintaining clear documentation, supporting team training, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in analytics workflows.
Major duties include designing, building, and maintaining automated dashboards using AWS QuickSight, developing scalable reporting solutions in Amazon Redshift, and ensuring data integrity for analytics.
The analyst will analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business improvement, interpret key metrics, and support decision-making with clear analysis.
The position requires working closely with business, sales, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver timely reports, as well as supporting internal and client meetings by explaining data and reports.
The analyst will maintain clear documentation for reporting processes, identify opportunities to enhance data workflows, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Other duties may include supporting broader business initiatives and adapting to different internal dynamics as needed.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred for this position.
Preferred experience in healthcare and/or insurance industries is required.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SQL for data querying and transformations is necessary.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QuickSight or a similar BI visualization tool is required.
Proficiency in PC/MAC platforms, including Excel and Google Sheets, is essential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary for this role.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments are essential.
Familiarity with industry jargon, workflow, and claims processing is important, along with the ability to advise clients on approaches to meet goals.
The ability to multitask and manage various tasks efficiently is required.
Strong documentation skills to keep all stakeholders informed and ensure project goals are met are necessary.
