Remote Business Intelligence Analyst

Description:

• Mitratech is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the delivery of business intelligence and reporting initiatives within the organization.
• The Analyst will work closely with business teams to gather and document requirements, translating them into user stories, and developing robust data models for insightful analytics.
• This entry-level role is ideal for analytical thinkers who enjoy solving complex data problems and ensuring high-quality reporting.
• Essential duties include gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting them, designing data models, collaborating with developers and data engineers, testing BI deliverables, and maintaining communication with stakeholders.
• The Analyst will also proactively identify and resolve data quality issues and stay updated with the latest BI tools and best practices.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline is required.
• Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in a data-driven role, preferably within a business intelligence or reporting function.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts are necessary.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes/tools, and BI reporting tools (e.g., QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical data insights for business audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work are expected.
