A Business Intelligence Data Analyst II is responsible for performing analysis for any requests/questions that require research within the Data Domain at Verisys.
This role supports short and long-term operational/strategic business activities by performing analysis and making recommendations on data improvements.
The analyst will work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders to meet client needs.
Responsibilities include implementing and delivering on a broad range of projects and priorities, identifying the most efficient solution, and conducting quality reviews.
The analyst will work with other teams within the Data Domain to troubleshoot issues and answer questions relative to client needs.
Documenting pertinent processes and research outcomes is essential.
Functions may include database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, security, and administration; as well as data modeling, big data development, ETL development, storage engineering, data warehousing, and data provisioning.
The analyst will leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making.
Fostering a data-driven, test-and-learn culture through analytics, experimentation, and in-depth research into data quality and availability is crucial.
The role involves influencing and building relationships with people across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities also include gathering, structuring, and analyzing data, and providing recommendations to management.
The analyst will present the results of data analyses and recommendations to management and process owners.
Monitoring assigned client workflow deliveries, including remediating errors, schedule changes, and escalation of issues, is part of the job.
The analyst may design schemas, write SQL or other data markup scripting, and support the development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data.
Performing analysis/research/work within the DBTask Team is also required.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with excellent organizational skills.
The candidate must be self-directed and highly motivated.
An ability to quickly learn new technologies is essential.
The candidate should have the ability to solve complex challenges and operate in a fast-paced team environment.
Experience with Data Cleansing and Normalization is necessary.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases, as well as familiarity with a variety of databases, are required.
Experience in Web-services/API is also necessary.
An undergraduate degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of professional related work experience is required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the Healthcare domain, strong understanding and experience of ETL processes, and experience with ETL tools.
Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, and RDS is preferred.
Familiarity with G-Suite is also preferred.
