  • We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and optimizing data pipelines to support reporting and analytics.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau.
  • The BI Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • The role involves optimizing and maintaining data models and warehouses for efficient querying and reporting.
  • The candidate will develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support BI and analytics solutions.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting solutions is a key responsibility.
  • The BI Engineer will automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes for efficiency.
  • Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (AWS) and databases (SQL, Snowflake) is required.
  • Collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive data initiatives is essential.
  • The candidate will meet regularly with the line manager to review progress and manage issue resolution.
  • Effective communication and teamwork with other teams, units, and departments is necessary.
  • The role may involve supporting other organization’s priority activities when necessary.
  • The BI Engineer will act as an Omilia ambassador.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's (or Master’s) degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent professional level knowledge of English is necessary.
  • The candidate must have 2+ years of experience in BI development, data visualization, or data analytics.
  • Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik is required.
  • Experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation is essential.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are required.
