The ideal candidate will have experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and optimizing data pipelines to support reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau.
The BI Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
The role involves optimizing and maintaining data models and warehouses for efficient querying and reporting.
The candidate will develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support BI and analytics solutions.
Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting solutions is a key responsibility.
The BI Engineer will automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes for efficiency.
Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (AWS) and databases (SQL, Snowflake) is required.
Collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive data initiatives is essential.
The candidate will meet regularly with the line manager to review progress and manage issue resolution.
Effective communication and teamwork with other teams, units, and departments is necessary.
The role may involve supporting other organization’s priority activities when necessary.
The BI Engineer will act as an Omilia ambassador.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's (or Master’s) degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.
Excellent professional level knowledge of English is necessary.
The candidate must have 2+ years of experience in BI development, data visualization, or data analytics.
Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik is required.
Experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation is essential.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management is necessary.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are required.
