The Senior Data Analyst will report to the Manager of Data Services for Life Sciences.
This role involves assisting the Product Team by transforming transaction EHR data into research-grade data offerings for Life Sciences.
The position requires a combination of data coding and analysis expertise, industry knowledge, and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Research efforts will lead to requirements and pilot projects that support the Life Sciences product team in developing data offerings or addressing gaps to drive revenue and marketing opportunities.
This is a newly created remote position available in the US or Canada, with occasional travel between the two countries (less than 5%).

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Life Sciences and the Long Term Post Acute Care (LTPAC) market.
Key responsibilities include utilizing SQL, Power BI, and other tools for data extraction, preparation, summarization, visualization, and communication of findings to stakeholders.
The candidate will lead cross-functional teams to identify business problems, develop solutions, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Advanced analytic skills in areas such as analytic discovery, descriptive statistics, and participation in various analysis projects are required.
The role involves working independently while keeping management and stakeholders informed and coordinating complex activities or projects.
The Senior Data Analyst will provide guidance and leadership within the Data Services team, mentor other analysts, conduct code reviews, and oversee development processes.
The candidate will actively train and develop team members, promoting a positive and constructive environment.
Requirements:
A Post-Secondary Degree in Data Science, Computing, Mathematics, or Healthcare Administration is required.
The candidate must have seasoned experience in data analysis and visualization tools, as well as modeling various clinical statistical concepts.
Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The ability to build strong relationships at all levels is required.
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are necessary for this role.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Data Science, Computing, Mathematics, or Healthcare Administration.
Experience in data analysis within the software development or data delivery industry is preferred.
Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS is advantageous.
Benefits:
The base salary for this position ranges from $99,600 to $107,100 per year, plus bonuses and benefits.
The salary range is determined by job and level, reflecting the target for new hire salaries across all Canada locations.
Individual compensation is based on job-related skills, knowledge, relevant experience, and work location.
