The Channel Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the 3-GIS partner ecosystem, acting as a technical advisor, escalation resource, and integration consultant for channel partners.
This role ensures partners can troubleshoot, support, and extend the capabilities of 3-GIS applications and Azure-based solutions for end customers.
While pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) environments are part of this role, the primary focus is on technical enablement and solution architecture.
The engineer will ensure partners can successfully implement, integrate, and manage 3-GIS solutions in cloud and Esri environments.
Requirements:
A degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in GIS, telecommunications, or cloud-based software environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are necessary, with a consultative approach to working with partners.
Experience working with ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and related GIS solutions is essential.
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or similar) and cloud-based deployment architectures is required.
Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar), and integration tools like Postman is needed.
The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is important.
A willingness to travel up to 35% as needed is required.
