The Cloud Administrator II provides administration for cloud computing platforms, networks, and systems.
This role is responsible for delivering a great customer experience and serves as an escalation point to provide technical support to customers over chat, phone, and via support tickets.
The administrator is expected to respond to the Rackspace global support ticket queues and complete first-line resolution to issues in scope.
It is essential to follow the process, display good judgment in decisions, and create and maintain customer loyalty by exceeding customer expectations.
The position requires adherence to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required, with interviews conducted in English.
The role can work remotely in the states of Ciudad de Mexico, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, Queretaro, Estado de Mexico, and Puebla.
Requirements:
A regional equivalent to a High School Diploma is required.
Technical education or job-acquired knowledge related to the duties of the role is necessary.
Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of Cloud or System Operations Administration experience.
Self-motivation with a strong desire to learn and improve both technical and interpersonal skills is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to communicate basic technical information with team members.
The candidate should strive for performance improvements in themselves and their peers.
Leadership qualities to motivate team members and organizational skills to provide quality work at pace are necessary.
The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure is required.
Candidates should be able to work effectively at both team and individual levels.
Confidence in interacting with more senior and/or skilled areas of the business is important.
The ability to communicate constructive feedback effectively is necessary.
Adaptability to changing business and technology requirements is required.
Sound problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
Preferred qualifications include AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, or other cloud computing certification.
