Remote Cloud DevOps Engineer

Description:

• H2O.ai is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
• The role involves running and scaling the company's SaaS offerings in a modern DevOps environment.
• Responsibilities include building and managing AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Automating workflows using Bash, Python, and Groovy is a key part of the job.
• The position requires operating and optimizing Kubernetes-based environments.
• The engineer will implement and manage GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Ensuring security, scalability, and reliability across platforms is essential.
• Collaboration with engineering and security teams to streamline operations is expected.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and EKS is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitOps, and CI/CD tools is required.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python are essential; Groovy is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes and knowledge of cloud security best practices are required.
