Requirements:
A background in computer science or engineering is ideal.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a CloudOps or DevOps engineer.
Proven expertise with AWS or another public cloud provider such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform is required.
Familiarity with Linux, security, and basic networking concepts is necessary.
A working knowledge of container-based architecture and deployment, including Docker and Kubernetes, is essential.
Proficiency in building deployment automation using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Argo Workflows is required.
A proven track record of identifying and resolving complex application issues is necessary.
Familiarity with technologies such as Ignite, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ is required.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios, Kibana, or Prometheus is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with implementing cloud security and compliance measures is an asset.
Candidates should demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through on issues until resolution.
Skills in coordinating efforts among geographically dispersed teams operating in different time zones are essential.
