Requirements:

  • A background in computer science or engineering is ideal for this position.
  • Candidates must have at least five years of experience working as a CloudOps or DevOps engineer.
  • Proven expertise with AWS or another public cloud provider such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform is required.
  • Familiarity with Linux, security, and basic networking concepts is necessary.
  • A working knowledge of container-based architecture and deployment, including Docker and Kubernetes, is essential.
  • Proficiency in building deployment automation using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Argo Workflows is required.
  • A proven track record of identifying and resolving complex application issues is necessary.
  • Candidates should be proficient with technologies such as Ignite, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios, Kibana, or Prometheus is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with implementing cloud security and compliance measures is an asset.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through on issues until resolution.
  • Skills in coordinating efforts among geographically dispersed teams operating in different time zones are required.
