As a Cloud Engineer for Developer Platform, you will be responsible for the technical execution of solutions and guidance to customers in a post-sales landscape.
You will focus on building and deploying serverless applications with scale, performance, security, and reliability using various Cloudflare products.
The position requires working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m., with occasional weekend support for specific customer changes.
Travel is expected to be around 40%.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering organized services for customers, gathering business and technical requirements, implementing changes, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to knowledge sharing activities.
Requirements:
You must have 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing position as a Consultant delivering services.
Proven experience with Cloudflare or similar technologies, particularly with Workers, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Workers APIs is required.
You should have experience developing serverless code in a CI/CD pipeline using Agile methodology.
A strong understanding of the OSI model layers and protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and HTTP is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash) and a desire to expand those skills is essential.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and strong experience with APIs and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Git is required.
You should have implementation and troubleshooting experience, along with knowledge of tools for observability and logs.
A good understanding of Internet and Security technologies, including DDoS, Web Application Firewall, and performance aspects of an internet property is necessary.
Fluency in English is required, and fluency in a second regional European language is a strong advantage.
