Remote Cloud Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking an Experienced Cloud Engineer with a solid background in cloud platforms.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining production clusters.
• You will collaborate with team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
• Your objective will be to take ownership of platform challenges, proactively addressing and resolving issues to ensure a high-performance, reliable infrastructure.

• The position is fully remote.
• Responsibilities include managing and scaling cloud infrastructure, driving proactive improvements, exploring and adopting new tools, working within agile/lean frameworks, enhancing infrastructure with innovative solutions, and collaborating effectively across teams.
• You will contribute actively and effectively as an integrated team member by meeting regularly with the line manager, managing issue resolution, and supporting the organization's other priority activities.

Requirements:

• You must have 4+ years of working experience in a similar role.
• Experience with AWS is required.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python are necessary.
• You should have experience in operating a container orchestration cluster, specifically Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Experience with Terraform is essential.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration Tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD is required.
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools like Ansible is necessary.
• Experience with Azure, Linux Administration, Cloud Security Services, basic RDBMS knowledge (MySQL, Postgres), and basic NoSQL knowledge (Redis) are considered a plus.
