  • Spektrum is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support key client projects, particularly for the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA).
  • The role involves operating cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using DevSecOps practices.
  • Responsibilities include deploying and managing landing zones, cloud workloads, and utilizing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.
  • The engineer will build, deploy, and maintain containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and monitor Azure Virtual Machines (VMs).
  • The position requires building automated disaster recovery and backup solutions and monitoring the performance of cloud workloads.
  • The engineer will manage secure access to applications, monitor application availability, and provide support for Microsoft Azure Services.
  • Security and compliance responsibilities include implementing governance controls and ensuring adherence to Zero Trust security principles.
  • Collaboration with IT security and compliance teams is essential, as well as contributing to the lifecycle of cloud secure products.
  • The role also involves identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud IaaS/PaaS Services.
  • Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing landing zones in Microsoft Azure using IaC and CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Expertise in managing governance controls such as Azure Policy is essential.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and managing Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve DevSecOps processes are required.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to Microsoft Azure services is needed.
  • Experience conducting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards is essential.
  • Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in French is an advantage.
  • A valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance is mandatory.
