Spektrum is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support key client projects, particularly for the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA).
The role involves operating cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using DevSecOps practices.
Responsibilities include deploying and managing landing zones, cloud workloads, and utilizing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.
The engineer will build, deploy, and maintain containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and monitor Azure Virtual Machines (VMs).
The position requires building automated disaster recovery and backup solutions and monitoring the performance of cloud workloads.
The engineer will manage secure access to applications, monitor application availability, and provide support for Microsoft Azure Services.
Security and compliance responsibilities include implementing governance controls and ensuring adherence to Zero Trust security principles.
Collaboration with IT security and compliance teams is essential, as well as contributing to the lifecycle of cloud secure products.
The role also involves identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in cloud operations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud IaaS/PaaS Services.
Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing landing zones in Microsoft Azure using IaC and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Expertise in managing governance controls such as Azure Policy is essential.
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and managing Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) is necessary.
Strong analytical skills to assess and improve DevSecOps processes are required.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders.
A strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to Microsoft Azure services is needed.
Experience conducting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards is essential.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Full proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in French is an advantage.
A valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance is mandatory.
