As a Cloud Engineer, you will provide advanced support, engineering, and troubleshooting for cloud-based managed services.
You will act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and lead problem resolution efforts.
The role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities include providing expert-level technical support, analyzing complex technical problems, and developing effective solutions.
You will proactively monitor cloud environments and maintain comprehensive documentation for internal and external use.
You will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex cloud environments and build automated solutions.
Participation in security audits and adherence to compliance frameworks is also required.
Effective communication with clients and collaboration with other teams is essential.
Continuous improvement of service offerings and mentoring of team members is expected.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure in a production environment.
A deep understanding of cloud infrastructure components such as compute, storage, networking, and security is required.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices is essential.
Familiarity with cloud automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python is necessary.
You should have a proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
A strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices is required.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools is necessary.
You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
You must be able to pass a federal background check for Public Trust Fitness and provide support in all US time zones.
