Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure in production environments is required.
  • A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security, is essential.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps practices, and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps) is necessary.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including familiarity with ITIL processes, are needed.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams are essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Relevant Azure certifications, including Azure Architect (AZ305), are highly preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to work independently, mentor others, and provide support across multiple US time zones.
  • A federal background check for Public Trust Fitness must be passed.
