As a Cloud Engineer, you will provide expert-level engineering, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for cloud-based managed services.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
The position emphasizes proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and mentorship, allowing you to influence both client outcomes and internal processes.

Key accountabilities include providing advanced technical support, analyzing and resolving complex technical problems, designing and maintaining cloud environments, participating in security audits, and mentoring team members.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles.
A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure in production environments is required.
A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security, is essential.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps practices, and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps) is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is required.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including familiarity with ITIL processes, are needed.
Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams are essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
Relevant Azure certifications, including Azure Architect (AZ305), are highly preferred.
Candidates must be able to work independently, mentor others, and provide support across multiple US time zones.
A federal background check for Public Trust Fitness must be passed.
