The engineer will use AWS services to deploy applications that are highly available, scalable, and secure.
Responsibilities include automating the release and upgrade processes for applications across Development, Test, and Production environments.
The position requires implementing secure integrations using AWS security and networking technologies.
The engineer will administer and engineer IAM user Role-Based Access Controls and processes.
The role includes creating and updating support documentation and standards.
The engineer will develop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, and business processes.
Investigating and contributing to solving various issues in production environments is also part of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience managing infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking and access security.
Experience in Terraform is required.
Candidates should have experience in CI/CD Pipeline automation and integration using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Build, Deploy, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Strong experience with shell scripts, editors, SSH, awk/sed, git, and other Linux toolkits is necessary.
Experience in deploying containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and its components is required.
Candidates should have experience with Kubernetes components such as Ingress Controllers, Cert Managers, Custom Resource Definitions, and RBAC access security.
Implementing secure integrations using security and networking technologies (IAP, VPC, and PSC) is required.
Administration and engineering of IAM user Role-Based Access Controls and processes is necessary.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks using Elastic Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch is required.
Candidates must be self-directed, able to work independently, and make high-level decisions autonomously.
Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 a year.
