Remote Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern

Description:

• Confluent is a pioneer in the Data in Motion movement, focusing on real-time data streaming.
• The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern will contribute to the application lifecycle of control-plane software (Golang) that orchestrates thousands of VMs in a multi-cloud Kubernetes platform.
• The role involves enhancing the existing tech stack, including monitoring, and working on Confluent Cloud, which supports major businesses globally.
• Interns are expected to research and define the technical roadmap, design changes, implement Golang code for Kubernetes operators, manage cloud infrastructure through IaC methodologies, and ensure security best practices.
• Responsibilities also include testing code, continuous improvement, and taking pride in deliverables and maintenance.
