Kiratech is seeking a mid-level Cloud Native Engineer to join its Engineering Team.
The engineer will contribute to the adoption of Cloud Native technologies in enterprise client projects, focusing on Platform Engineering and Hardening.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing secure and scalable Cloud Native infrastructures, interfacing with clients and technical stakeholders, optimizing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes, and participating in architectural design phases related to Kubernetes and managed Cloud services.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible is required.
At least 2 years of experience with containerization tools like Docker, Podman, and Buildah, as well as orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, K3s, and Rancher.
Experience with at least one Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE) is necessary.
Proficiency in CI/CD and GitOps using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab, ArgoCD, and Flux is required.
System administration skills in Linux environments are essential.
Knowledge of Cloud Native networking and storage is required.
Candidates must possess at least one certification relevant to the position, such as CKA or CKAD (Kubernetes), a Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP), a DevSecOps certification, or a certification issued by CNCF.
Soft skills required include autonomy, result orientation, effective technical communication, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to have skills include knowledge of tools like Istio, HashiCorp Vault, and Trivy, experience with monitoring/logging stacks such as Elastic, Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus, and basic skills in configuring bare metal systems and hardening systems.
