Description:
Via Logic is seeking a Remote Cloud Platform and Data Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for a full-time position.
The role involves supporting a federal government client and requires U.S. citizenship to obtain a Public Trust.
The successful candidate will architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions.
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, leading secure cloud projects, and deploying capabilities for clients.
The position emphasizes the implementation of everything-as-code and DevSecOps best practices.
Key responsibilities include designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing containerization technologies, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
The engineer will ensure high availability of production systems, implement monitoring solutions, and maintain security compliance.
Participation in agile teams and development of automated tests for infrastructure are also required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud solutions, particularly on AWS.
Advanced skills in CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD automation tools like Jenkins and Gitlab are required.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Bash are necessary for task automation and operational efficiency.
Proficiency in data management using SQL and Python, with experience in ETL processes and data visualization tools is essential.
Knowledge of cloud-native services, secure cloud networking, and compliance standards such as FISMA and FedRAMP is required.
Candidates should demonstrate innovative problem-solving skills and exceptional project management capabilities.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with an understanding of agile practices, are necessary.
Preference will be given to candidates with government sector experience and current public trust clearance.
