Atmosera is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Security Administrator to join their Cloud Escalations Team.
This position requires working overnight from 9pm to 6am PT, Monday to Friday.
The role involves advanced troubleshooting and support, acting as an escalation point for technicians, and resolving high-priority incidents following ITIL best practices.
Responsibilities include managing service requests, installing and configuring customer systems in Azure, and monitoring incidents for customer infrastructure in Azure.
The candidate will implement automation using scripting languages like PowerShell and Bicep, and apply CI/CD practices for infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
The role also includes ensuring compliance with various frameworks, analyzing cloud security posture, responding to security incidents, and developing incident response plans.
The candidate will communicate technical issues to clients, provide exceptional client service, and document Root Cause Analysis and Incident Event Reports.
Continuous improvement is a key aspect, involving the development of documentation for standard operating procedures and training materials.
Participation in an on-call rotation for escalated support to meet SLAs is required.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in support administration with Azure Cloud is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bicep, with experience in automation and CI/CD practices is necessary.
Experience with network platforms and firewalls, including VPNs, policy management, load balancing, and policy-based routing is essential.
Expertise in administering hypervisors like Hyper-V and VMware, along with a strong understanding of storage and backup solutions is required.
Demonstrated ability to optimize Commvault performance and troubleshoot complex issues is needed.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident and problem management is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to clients, are required.
A strong analytical mindset with a focus on root-cause analysis, knowledge development, and process creation is necessary.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is required.
AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) certification is mandatory.
SC-200 - Security Operations Analyst Associate certification and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using PowerShell and/or Bicep are nice to have.
