The Security team is responsible for protecting infrastructure, data, and systems at scale.
As a Cloud Security Engineer, the focus will be on the security of cloud environments and infrastructure, ensuring configurations are set with least privilege and can withstand real-world threats.
This is a hands-on role that combines security engineering with deep infrastructure context.
The engineer will partner with Infra and SRE teams to improve visibility, tighten controls, and embed security into the core of the cloud-native architecture.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with cloud platforms, identifying misconfigurations, and building scalable controls that do not hinder team productivity.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls across AWS environments and Kubernetes infrastructure, resolving misconfigurations and over-permissive access, improving tooling and automation for IAM and secrets management, and contributing to threat modeling and security incident response.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience securing cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, in a production environment.
Familiarity with IAM, networking, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred) is required.
An understanding of cloud attack techniques and mitigation strategies is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a high-autonomy environment.
It is a plus to have experience building internal security tooling or automation.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 is also beneficial.
