PDI Technologies is seeking a skilled CloudOps Engineer to drive the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of their cloud infrastructure.
The role involves upholding cloud management policies, migrating on-premise applications to the cloud, debugging cloud stacks, and deploying new cloud applications.
Key responsibilities include developing automation solutions to streamline processes, collaborating with product development and architecture teams, implementing security measures, designing and maintaining highly available systems for SaaS products, and deploying monitoring tools and scripts.
The engineer will recommend changes to application architecture to improve performance, install and configure software, troubleshoot incidents, monitor cloud resource usage for cost-saving opportunities, and stay current with emerging technologies.
The role also requires creating and maintaining technical documents for cloud infrastructure and related processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud computing.
Knowledge of configuring load balancers and setting up microservices is required.
Proficiency with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is necessary.
Familiarity with container orchestration and expertise in installing releases is essential.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Dynatrace and certificate management is required.
Candidates should be familiar with containerization (Docker) and cloud orchestration, preferably AWS.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Candidates must be able to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Windows and Linux systems, CLI, and scripting is required, as well as working experience with SQL RDBMS administration.
Experience in direct customer contact, such as tech support or customer service, is also necessary.
