Fullscript is seeking a Co-op/Intern Ruby Engineer for Fall 2025 to help change healthcare by providing a platform for healthcare practitioners and patients.
The internship is a paid opportunity for students legally eligible to work full-time hours (~40/week) in Canada.
Interns will gain hands-on experience and learn about the complete project and software development life-cycle.
Interns will focus on improving their skills in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, participate in project breakdowns, code reviews, and deploy code.
Responsibilities include writing code for new features, updating existing code, fixing bugs, and choosing side development projects.
Interns will experience a full workplace environment, including onboarding, mentorship, and feedback sessions with Tech Leads.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently pursuing or have recently completed education in software engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work full-time in Canada.
Previous internship or co-op experience in a team environment within a software company is preferred.
Some experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails is required.
Familiarity with other programming languages (Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, etc.), Git Version Control, open source work, Mac environments, and SQL databases is a bonus.
