  • Dext is seeking a Commerce Solutions Engineer responsible for delivering advanced technical implementations for Dext Commerce users with needs beyond the product's native support.
  • The role involves building custom solutions, leading the onboarding of new users, and supporting ongoing complex technical requests throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Core responsibilities include configuring and managing custom account mappings and advanced Commerce settings tailored to client needs, acting as a product owner for specific workflows or features, proactively identifying and escalating bugs, building strong client relationships, and serving as a strategic liaison between clients, Sales, and Product teams.
  • Objectives for 2025 include launching self-service mappings, improving customer education and documentation, delivering internal enablement initiatives, and contributing to scalable product architecture.
  • Performance will be measured through client and partner satisfaction, public advocacy and reputation, and the successful adoption and implementation of impactful features.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in client-facing or cross-functional contexts are required.
  • Solid logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is necessary, particularly in managing complex configurations or data flows.
  • Familiarity with Java and JavaScript is a plus, as they are used in scripting, debugging, or API integration.
  • Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial systems is highly desirable.
  • A foundational understanding of software development principles, including data structures and system design concepts, is required.
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms and integrations, such as e-commerce channels and accounting tools, is a bonus.
  • The candidate should proactively manage client expectations, confidently educate and support users, be adaptable and collaborative, and possess a customer-centric mindset.
