The Compliance Data Analyst will support critical compliance management program elements by utilizing data for analysis, reporting, and escalation of identified concerns.
This role requires the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Responsibilities include providing support for the data and reporting needs of the Compliance and broader Legal teams.
Assist team members in building solutions that ensure the quality and accessibility of information.
Develop an understanding of the company's data sources and stay informed about changes that may impact Compliance reporting and metrics.
Collaborate with data and analytics groups to build necessary data infrastructure to support Compliance reporting, data, and analytics needs.
Coordinate and support the development of additional monitoring metrics as needed.
Provide support to the Compliance Monitoring team in addressing monitoring alerts generated.
Support other key compliance and risk management projects as needed.
Experience with SQL in RDBMS (Redshift, Snowflake) is a plus.
Experience with reporting in Google/Office spreadsheet management systems (Looker is a plus).
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and knowledge of BI tools are significant advantages.
The candidate should be inquisitive and proactive in proposing creative and effective solutions.
Strong project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills are essential.
A strong interest in fintech and consumer finance is required.
Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a team with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally is necessary.
