Remote Computer Vision Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic AI/ML team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying computer vision solutions that leverage state-of-the-art models and frameworks.
• Your work will directly contribute to real-time systems in industries such as surveillance, automotive, healthcare, and retail.
• As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead the development of models and pipelines using YOLO, PyTorch, and OpenCV, and deploy scalable solutions using Python.
• You will collaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers to build solutions that power intelligent visual recognition capabilities.
• Key responsibilities include designing and implementing computer vision models and systems tailored to business requirements using deep learning techniques, developing object detection, image classification, segmentation, and tracking solutions, optimizing model performance, working with large-scale datasets, performing rigorous validation and testing of CV models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and keeping up-to-date with the latest research trends in computer vision and deep learning.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4–8 years of industry experience in developing and deploying computer vision applications is required.
• Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in PyTorch for deep learning model development is essential.
• A strong command of OpenCV for image and video processing tasks is necessary.
• Expertise in YOLO (You Only Look Once) for real-time object detection is required.
• A solid understanding of computer vision fundamentals including feature extraction, object detection, classification, and tracking is needed.
• Experience in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating deep learning models on real-world datasets is important.
• The ability to write clean, efficient, and modular code with proper documentation is required.
• Familiarity with GPU acceleration and performance optimization for inference is necessary.
• Experience working with version control systems like Git is essential.
