The position is part of Pure’s fastest growing team, the Analytics & AI Field Solutions Architects, which aims to provide guidance and support for Analytics & AI opportunities across a sales region.
Responsibilities include creating field-facing solutions content such as Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives, Demos, and Qualification Guides for Analytics & AI solutions.
The role requires mainstreaming solution areas and enablement projects to equip the field for initial stages of Analytics & AI opportunities.
The candidate will present webinars and events, participate in customer-facing calls, demos, POCs, and internal strategy sessions.
Staying updated on internal product offerings and formalizing enablement plans is essential.
The position involves participating in Solutions Roadmap discussions and maintaining daily communication with Solutions Architects and Product Management.
The candidate will assist in field testing and provide post-sales troubleshooting with expert-level knowledge.
Collaboration with Sales Leaders for feedback and communication is necessary.
The role requires inspiring and motivating the field to achieve success and attract customers to Pure Storage technology.
High cross-functional engagement with other corporate functions is expected, along with developing internal relationships across Pure Storage.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
The candidate must have 8+ years of Pre-sales experience in IT, with a strong preference for experience covering SLED accounts.
Strong technical acumen in the Analytics & AI space and a deep interest in the industry are essential.
A solid understanding of the infrastructure that supports high-performance environments is required.
The candidate should have a reputation as a technical evangelist with expertise in key technologies.
Exceptional sales skills with knowledge of Analytics & AI product solutions and an understanding of Pure Storage's competitive domain are necessary.
The ability to articulate customer strategies and Pure Storage solutions at a technical level is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation skills, are essential.
Proficiency with G-Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com, is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs are necessary.
Knowledge of the Analytics & AI landscape and its integration with Pure's offerings is required.
The candidate must be able to travel within the assigned territory and other locations throughout the US, approximately 50% to 60% of the time.
A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and follow-through ability are essential.
Publications and a social media presence are considered a plus.
