Serving as a subject matter expert on security projects, the engineer will conduct research and oversee the implementation of threat remediation techniques.
Mentoring junior engineers and analysts to build team capability and knowledge is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 8 years in hands-on engineering roles.
Demonstrated expertise in detection engineering, threat hunting, and cyber intelligence is required.
A working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their practical applications in cybersecurity is necessary.
A strong understanding of distributed systems, telemetry pipelines, and security architecture is essential.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments is required.
Candidates must have a proven ability to lead through influence and drive change across complex organizations.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent are preferred.
A track record of mentoring junior engineers and/or analysts is necessary.
Active engagement in industry trends, forums, professional associations, or conferences is expected.
