The role can be based in the US or EMEA.
The Consulting Solution Architect (CSA) will enable conversations with ZEDEDA’s customer-side Enterprise, Cloud, and Edge/IoT Architects.
The CSA must have led and/or been part of multiple sales deals in both IT and OT, particularly in verticals such as Oil & Gas, Renewables, Industrial Automation, Retail, and Automotive.
The CSA should articulate the value proposition of ZEDEDA and assist with design wins by collaborating closely with customer architecture teams.
The CSA will understand end-to-end deployment schemes and partner with customers to enable their Edge solutions, including identifying the correct architecture, tools, partners, and logistics.
The CSA will drive and actively participate in Proof of Concept/Values with customers, providing hands-on support.
Establishing a long-term and sustainable relationship with assigned accounts is essential, aligning ZEDEDA’s solutions with clients' key business initiatives.
The CSA will work collaboratively with the Client Executive to develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, providing technical expertise during the sales process.
The CSA will support account-based marketing strategies to drive technology proliferation campaigns, including adoption and deployment.
Participation in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and its solutions is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with large-scale deployments, virtualization, edge networking, and security, as well as relevant edge applications for corresponding verticals.
A good understanding of hardware platforms and their fit in customer deployments is necessary.
Strong understanding of virtualization, Kubernetes, and Docker Compose is required.
Candidates should understand the operational needs of customers when deploying large-scale edge solutions.
Industry-recognized credibility in the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Industrial Automation, Retail, and Automotive verticals is essential.
A BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 8-10 years of experience in presales and solution architecture teams with customer-facing roles using engineering software.
Experience selling to large enterprises and enterprises in emerging markets is necessary.
The ability to understand, represent, and effectively communicate all technical activities and product offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences is required.
Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a sense of urgency, are essential.
Candidates must project a professional image and demonstrate business acumen, being driven to succeed.
The ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives is necessary.
Candidates should be willing to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and coordination with personnel distributed across multiple global sites is required.
