Remote Contract Software Engineer (Python, React, AWS)

Description:

• The company is currently seeking an experienced contract software engineer to join their dynamic team.
• As a Codurance software engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and contribute to the success of clients' projects.
• This is an initial 6 months contract, inside IR35.
• The day rate for this position is £550-£600 per day.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python backend services and proficiency in React development is essential.
• Experience with the Django framework or other Python web frameworks is required.
• A solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SNS, SQS, EKS, and S3 is required.
• Experience with Kubernetes using tools like kubectl and k9s is essential.
• An understanding of building systems that operate at scale is necessary.
• Experience with production deployments and CI/CD pipelines, such as CodeFresh or similar, is required.
• Comfort with updating Helm charts and Terraform configurations is essential.
• Experience with OpenSearch or ElasticSearch is required.
• Kotlin programming experience is a nice to have.
