We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud and on-prem infrastructure supporting all customer-facing products.
You will oversee the organization, security, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure supporting all products, ensuring high availability and peak performance.
You will drive the implementation and refinement of tooling and automation solutions to expedite issue resolution and proactively prevent incidents when feasible.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with IT and engineering teams to shape hosting strategies that enhance existing products/processes and facilitate the integration of new technologies.
You will work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless operation and swift performance of our technology stack, encompassing hosted websites, services, and all internal/client-facing products.
You will monitor and promptly respond to emerging infrastructure challenges in real-time, both during regular work hours and as part of a rotating on-call schedule.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of technical experience in Windows system administration, network engineering, and automation scripting.
You must have 5+ years of experience running cloud services, preferably Azure.
You must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in Powershell/Python.
You must have 3+ years of experience with CI/CD technologies such as Azure DevOps and/or Octopus Deploy.
Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
Nice to have: SQL Server and/or Azure Database management experience.
Nice to have: Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring/alerting solution.
Nice to have: Experience supervising other team members.
Nice to have: Familiarity with IAC tools such as Terraform/Bicep.
