Jam City is seeking a Corporate IT Security Engineer to enhance their security posture through proactive improvements and responsive actions.
This hands-on role involves monitoring security systems, analyzing events and logs, and investigating incidents to resolve them.
The engineer will implement and maintain security tools, automations, and infrastructure, including a future SIEM.
Responsibilities include leading incident investigations across various SaaS platforms and cloud computing infrastructures, designing automated security workflows, and maintaining user access reviews and vulnerability scans.
The role requires collaboration with DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure secure management of secrets and API keys.
The engineer will also participate in security awareness programs, assist with compliance audits, and contribute to security documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a deep understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and Kerberos.
Experience with SIEM platforms and detection engineering, including rule creation and log correlation, is required.
Strong automation experience with Okta Workflows, scripting (Python/Bash), and APIs is necessary.
Familiarity with endpoint protection, browser session security, and DLP tools is essential.
The ability to perform and lead internal red team assessments and penetration testing is required.
A deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices is necessary.
Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills are essential for this role.
