  • Key responsibilities include driving value with Atlan, providing architecture partnership and strategy, custom solution discovery and design, technical enablement, custom solution implementation, innovation, facilitation with product and engineering, building expertise, and thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer.
  • A deep understanding of problem statements and the ability to design solutions that align with business drivers is essential.
  • The ability to assess the technical and business acumen of customer stakeholders and communicate effectively across various personas is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges are necessary.
  • Extensive experience with data tooling, including OLAP/OLTP databases, data warehouses, ETL, and BI tools is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing and Data Lake architecture, with experience in platforms like Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is essential.
  • Experience in Python scripting and a willingness to learn new technologies is necessary.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture fundamentals, including highly available fault-tolerant systems and IAM policies, is required.
  • Familiarity with data flow architecture, orchestration, and transformation tools is necessary.
  • Experience with consuming REST APIs for automation and system design is required.
  • Expertise in managing customer challenges to resolution is essential.
