The Cyber Cloud Security Engineer role is a full-time employee position requiring a minimum of 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
The position is 100% remote, with all work performed within the U.S., and candidates must be U.S. citizens who have resided in the U.S. for 3 of the past 5 years.
The role involves designing and implementing secure cloud and network architectures in multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance with federal directives and security standards.
Responsibilities include translating cloud security strategies into detailed designs for multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP), engineering zero-trust architectures, building automation pipelines, optimizing cloud environments for compliance, and collaborating with teams to ensure secure and scalable designs.
Candidates must meet public trust clearance requirements, which include successfully completing a Background Investigation and credit check.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of technical experience designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
U.S. citizenship and residence in the U.S. is mandatory, as all work must be performed in the U.S.
Candidates must be eligible for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust clearance, with no history that would prevent obtaining this clearance.
Strong foundation in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid connectivity is required.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible is necessary.
Deep knowledge of zero-trust and cloud-native security frameworks is essential.
Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) for cloud-scale networking is preferred.
Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines is required.
