Octus is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join their dynamic cybersecurity team.
This role is hands-on and focuses on building, automating, and securing cloud-based SaaS infrastructure and products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application and cloud security and a passion for designing robust security solutions.
Responsibilities include championing security throughout the software development lifecycle, enhancing cloud security architecture, developing security automation, managing vulnerabilities, and implementing security monitoring and incident response engineering.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, focusing on application security, cloud security, and secure software development is necessary.
Knowledge of web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and secure coding practices is essential.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, IAST, and CSPM is required.
Proven experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their native security services is necessary.
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript) is required.
Experience implementing and auditing technical controls for security frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, and ISO 27001 is necessary.
Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCSK, CCSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, or cloud-specific security certs) are preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences, are essential.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $100,000 and $150,000, including base salary and an annual discretionary bonus.
