Description:

  • MeridianLink is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant who is passionate about transforming data into impactful stories that drive real-world results.
  • This role involves analyzing complex datasets to identify key trends, evaluate performance, and deliver insights that inform business decisions.
  • The consultant will manage the full data lifecycle, from collection and processing to analysis and reporting, across both recurring and ad hoc projects.
  • Responsibilities include designing and maintaining interactive dashboards for clients, using business intelligence tools like Power BI or Sisense to develop custom reports, and leading client-facing meetings to present findings.
  • The consultant will work collaboratively with internal teams to design and deliver analytics solutions that drive value and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all analytics deliverables.
  • Additional duties include contributing to internal knowledge-sharing, developing new analytics capabilities, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients on best practices in analytics tools and strategy.
  • The role requires clear communication of complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred.
  • Candidates should have 2-4 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data analysis, with experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation are required, along with strong skills in Python for data processing and manipulation.
  • High-level proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Sisense for analytics and reporting is necessary.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation are essential.
  • Candidates must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present complex data insights to stakeholders.
