MeridianLink is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant who is passionate about transforming data into impactful stories that drive real-world results.
This role involves analyzing complex datasets to identify key trends, evaluate performance, and deliver insights that inform business decisions.
The consultant will manage the full data lifecycle, from collection and processing to analysis and reporting, across both recurring and ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining interactive dashboards for clients, using business intelligence tools like Power BI or Sisense to develop custom reports, and leading client-facing meetings to present findings.
The consultant will work collaboratively with internal teams to design and deliver analytics solutions that drive value and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all analytics deliverables.
Additional duties include contributing to internal knowledge-sharing, developing new analytics capabilities, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients on best practices in analytics tools and strategy.
The role requires clear communication of complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred.
Candidates should have 2-4 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data analysis, with experience in a financial institution preferred.
Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation are required, along with strong skills in Python for data processing and manipulation.
High-level proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Sisense for analytics and reporting is necessary.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present complex data insights to stakeholders.
