Responsibilities include extracting and cleaning data from company systems (e.g., CRM, claims database) using SQL and other tools.
The analyst will analyze data to identify trends such as claim denial rates, sales conversion rates, and customer churn.
Building and maintaining interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms for departments like Sales, Call Center, Claims, and leadership is required.
The role supports the Process Engineer and CX Specialist with data for process optimization and CX initiatives.
Preparing ad-hoc and recurring reports, including manual reporting when needed, is part of the job.
Ensuring data accuracy and compliance with health insurance regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is essential.
The analyst will present insights to leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting in a business environment, preferably non-manufacturing (e.g., health insurance, financial services).
Proven expertise in SQL, reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, Vlookup) is necessary.
Demonstrated experience creating business dashboards with measurable impact is required, and a portfolio or proof of work must be provided.
Candidates should be comfortable performing manual reporting and monotonous tasks as needed.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights are essential.
Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis is preferred.
Familiarity with other data analysis frameworks is a plus.
The ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders is required.
Candidates must be able to commit to a 40-hour work week and have the flexibility to work in U.S. time zones, Monday to Friday.
A distraction-free home office setup is necessary, along with a laptop/desktop meeting minimum specifications: 8GB RAM, i5 operating system.
