Rocket Money is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Growth Marketing team and shape their analytics strategy.
The role involves driving data-informed decision-making across the organization and leveraging analytical tools to measure performance across online channels.
Responsibilities include enhancing the martech infrastructure and developing scalable frameworks and tooling.
The Data Analyst will evaluate and optimize marketing investments against core business metrics such as ROAS, LTV, and conversion rates.
The analyst will be a trusted advisor on marketing data, understanding ad platforms, MMPs, and third parties to produce actionable insights.
Key tasks include building and improving analytics reporting using Looker, scoping analytical questions, determining KPIs, and collaborating with Data Engineering.
The analyst will analyze marketing experiments and conduct ad hoc analysis of ad platform testing.
The role requires partnering with the Growth team to translate business needs into data problems and prioritize work, including performance analysis of keyword cohorts and monitoring marketing trends.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in technical marketing data roles and familiarity with modern marketing tech such as MMPs and digital platforms.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience with BI tools is required, with Looker being preferred.
A strong SQL background is necessary, with the ability to conduct quick analyses and create proof of concept data models.
Candidates should understand marketing measurement and attribution, balancing rigor with business realities.
The ability to break down problems into tasks and adjust priorities as needed is essential.
Familiarity with standard marketing measures such as LTV, CAC, ROAS, and retention metrics is required.
Bonus points for experience with BigQuery, Singular, Looker, dbt, Amplitude, DeepNote, git, experiment design, Agile processes, media buying, mobile analytics, and a genuine interest in marketing attribution technology.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000, plus bonuses and benefits, with base pay varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
