Key accountabilities include partnering with stakeholders to understand analytical needs, designing and building interactive dashboards, conducting deep-dive exploratory analyses, documenting analytical methodologies, ensuring data pipeline quality, and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in data analysis roles, delivering actionable business intelligence.
Advanced SQL proficiency is required for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Hex is necessary.
Familiarity with modern data infrastructure like BigQuery or Snowflake is expected.
The ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous datasets and turn them into usable insights is essential.
Excellent communication skills are required for clearly presenting complex data to diverse teams.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
Nice to have: experience with dbt and data modeling practices, familiarity with healthcare or insurance datasets and HIPAA compliance, and strong organizational skills with an interest in advanced techniques like fuzzy matching or time series.
