Remote Data Analyst Lead

Description:

• The Data Analyst Lead will join the Insights and Analytics team to leverage expertise in SQL, Python, and other analytical tools.
• Responsibilities include building data solutions that drive strategic decision-making and developing dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
• The role involves leading complex quantitative analyses, partnering with cross-functional teams, synthesizing data sources, and serving as a thought partner to leadership.
• The Data Analyst Lead will also provide knowledge sharing and expertise in data and analytics across the Koala team.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Candidates should have 6+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, preferably in e-commerce or customer-centric businesses.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL is necessary, with experience in analyzing large, multi-source datasets.
• Proven ability to lead investigative data work and architect analytical solutions is required.
• Skills in wireframing and prototyping data visualization solutions are essential, along with the ability to present KPIs to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R and fluency in visualization platforms like Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, or Heap is required.
• A strong ownership mindset and initiative to drive projects independently are necessary.
• Bonus skills include experience with modern data stack tools such as DBT, Snowflake, and Mozart, as well as familiarity with marketing analytics and customer data platforms like Segment and Mixpanel.
