Shift Markets is a leader in the FX space and is adapting to the changes in the financial industry due to cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
The company is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data & Insights team to support finance and trading operations.
The Data Analyst will analyze data, generate actionable insights, and contribute to performance reporting and incident impact assessments.
Responsibilities include analyzing financial and trading data to identify trends, supporting reconciliation and financial operations reporting, generating reports on product profitability and customer behavior, preparing insights on incident impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and track KPIs, learning and working within proprietary tools, and contributing to new analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have proficiency in SQL and experience with Python, particularly with Pandas and NumPy.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 1 to 2 years of experience in a data analysis or analytics-focused role.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Experience in fintech, FX, or crypto is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in SQL is a must.
Experience with Python, especially Pandas and NumPy, is required.
Candidates should be able to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English (C2) is required; knowledge of Russian, Ukrainian, or Polish is a plus.
The position requires self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
