Tailscale is seeking a talented and motivated full-time Data Analyst to join their team.
The Data Analyst will own Data and Analytics to power the rest of the company and contribute to the data culture.
This role involves transforming data into actionable insights that drive key business decisions and product strategies.
The Data Analyst will work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Support, Marketing, and other teams to translate data into meaningful narratives and self-service tools.
Responsibilities include advising the go-to-market team with insights based on data, analyzing sales pipeline and customer acquisition metrics, developing and automating reporting workflows, creating and maintaining documentation of data sources, collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs, and providing regular insights to the leadership team.
Requirements:
Candidates should have experience at a high growth B2B SaaS company.
A strong understanding of go-to-market motions, sales metrics, and marketing metrics is required.
Knowledge of SQL and widely used tools like Salesforce, Snowflake, and dbt is necessary.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Metabase is expected.
The ability to give and process constructive feedback, as well as work independently, is essential.
Candidates must be able to communicate openly and support innovation.
Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup and adeptness at dealing with ambiguity is important.
