  • Valtech is seeking an Enterprise Data & AI Architect to shape the end-to-end data and AI landscape.
  • The role involves owning the technical strategy, design, and roll-out of a secure, governed, and future-proof AI ecosystem that automates workflows across the business.
  • Responsibilities include defining a data & AI architecture around a Microsoft core, ensuring alignment with business needs, security, governance, and ethical-AI standards.
  • The architect will establish data classification requirements, RBAC, quality, and compliance guardrails in partnership with Data Protection and Legal.
  • The role requires architecting storage, infrastructure, and observability for out-of-perimeter data sharing.
  • Collaboration with procurement and security to vet AI vendors is essential.
  • The architect will lead from proofs of concept to scaled AI solutions, documenting patterns and best practices for rapid delivery.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in designing larger-scale data, ML, or enterprise platforms.
  • A minimum of 3 years building cloud-first AI platforms is required.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native AI and data services such as Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric, ADF, Databricks, or similar AWS/GCP stacks is essential.
  • Experience in productizing Gen-AI copilots or RAG systems in large, multi-national environments is necessary.
  • A strong grasp of RBAC, encryption, and compliance frameworks, with a proven record of meeting GDPR/HIPAA standards, is required.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT orchestration, and MLOps automation is needed.
  • Candidates should be skilled communicators who can simplify complex topics and influence without direct authority.
  • A strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with near-term delivery is preferred.
