Spektrum is seeking a Data Centre Support Engineer to join their team and support key client projects, particularly for NATO and its partners.
The role involves supporting NATO's modernization of IT services through cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, M365, and Amazon AWS.
The position is part of the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), which provides secure and effective IT services to NATO member countries.
Responsibilities include developing security policies, managing compliance, configuring advanced threat protection, and ensuring data protection.
The role requires collaboration with the Cloud Operations team and the Cloud Centre of Excellence to enhance NATO's IT capabilities.
The position is remote but requires occasional travel for onboarding and offboarding to NATO offices.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of technical expertise in Microsoft Defender products and services, including Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and KQL.
At least 4 years of experience in security and compliance knowledge, including conducting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience in assessing and improving security processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with at least 3 years of experience in effectively working with IT teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with at least 2 years of experience in team settings.
Full proficiency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance is required.
