Remote Data Centre Support Engineer

Description:

• Spektrum is seeking a Data Centre Support Engineer to join their team and support key client projects, particularly for NATO and its partners.
• The role involves supporting NATO's modernization of IT services through cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, M365, and Amazon AWS.
• The position is part of the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), which provides secure and effective IT services to NATO member countries.
• Responsibilities include developing security policies, managing compliance, configuring advanced threat protection, and ensuring data protection.
• The role requires collaboration with the Cloud Operations team and the Cloud Centre of Excellence to enhance NATO's IT capabilities.
• The position is remote but requires occasional travel for onboarding and offboarding to NATO offices.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of technical expertise in Microsoft Defender products and services, including Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and KQL.
• At least 4 years of experience in security and compliance knowledge, including conducting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience in assessing and improving security processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with at least 3 years of experience in effectively working with IT teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with at least 2 years of experience in team settings.
• Full proficiency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance is required.
