The position is for a Data Engineer on a temporary, 12-month project.
The Data Engineer will build and maintain the Unified Data Fabric for a marketing monitoring and oversight system.
Responsibilities include ingesting, processing, and standardizing data from multiple sources, including internal data and social media advertising platforms.
The role contributes to ensuring healthcare delivery to millions of Americans by monitoring and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing an S3-based data lake, building data ingestion pipelines, developing ETL processes, creating data catalogs, and collaborating with ML Engineers.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering and pipeline development.
Expert-level experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, and Kinesis is necessary.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks like Spark and EMR is required.
Experience with data lake architectures and a modern data stack is essential.
A strong understanding of data modeling and schema design is needed.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools, such as Airflow or similar, is required.
Knowledge of data governance and quality practices is necessary.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, and candidates must reside in the Continental US.

Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $190,000, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
