  • The role involves translating complex business requirements into actionable data-driven insights that impact national security.
  • The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems at the forefront of data engineering for a government client, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and analyzing requirements, designing and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks, maintaining and enhancing Python and SQL codebases, and creating intuitive dashboards and reports.
  • The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with government customers, other data engineers, and product teams, documenting designs and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be US citizens with a current and active Secret US government clearance; non-citizens or those without the clearance will not be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer is required.
  • Proven experience in building dashboards and reports using data visualization tools is necessary.
  • Solid skills in Python, including modular code structure, are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with Databricks for data cleaning and transformation is required.
  • Strong SQL writing and optimization abilities are necessary for this role.
