Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• AirOps is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain the high-scale data infrastructure that powers its platform.
• The role involves building robust ingestion, cleanup, and integration pipelines to ensure data accuracy and reliability for customer insights.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large volumes of data.
• The Data Engineer will implement automated data validation, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data quality.
• The position requires integrating diverse internal and external data sources into unified, queryable datasets.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally in AI, SaaS, or data-intensive products.
• Strong fluency in Python and SQL is required.
• Experience with modern data modeling tools such as dbt is necessary.
• Familiarity with data warehouses and OLAP databases (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, ClickHouse) is expected.
• Proven ability to design and maintain production-grade data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar) is essential.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) is required.
• Candidates should be comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where quick shipping and iteration are necessary.
