Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate is a SQL wizard with advanced querying skills.
  • Experience in an early-stage startup during rapid growth is essential, specifically as the first or only data hire or leading the data function.
  • The candidate must have handled scale by designing or maintaining infrastructure for datasets with over 100 million rows.
  • Proficiency in workflow automation and API integrations using code, Zapier, N8N, or similar tools is required.
  • Familiarity with LLM-native tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Devin is necessary.
  • A generalist mindset is important, with a willingness to work across the full stack, including web development and data analytics.
  • Previous experience setting up a data stack with tools like Airflow, dbt, Postgres, Snowflake, and BI tooling like Hex is required.
