The position is within the Digital Transformation Pole, where you will join a team of data management experts to assist clients.
You will be assigned to a major player in the insurance sector, working in a squad on a Big Data platform evolution project.
Your responsibilities will include generating application footprints from functional specifications using Python scripts and YAML configuration files.
You will automate the configuration of Big Data environments (clusters, resources, services) using provided tools.
You will utilize Git for versioning and controlled deployment of configurations and contribute to the industrialization of provisioning workflows.
You will provide first-level support to projects using the platform, particularly regarding Python module usage and environment management.
You will occasionally work on data transformation jobs in PySpark, related to project needs or platform evolution.
You will document technical deliverables, contribute to DevOps best practices, and suggest improvements to existing processes.
Requirements:
A degree of Bac+5 (Engineering School, University, or equivalent) in computer science is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data/big data team within an Agile environment is necessary.
Proficiency in Python, Spark, and Git is essential.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure environment is required.
Strong communication skills and proven analytical and synthesis abilities are important.
