Remote Data Engineer ( Billing Automation )

Description:

• The Data Engineer will develop and maintain Python scripts to retrieve and process data from APIs.
• The role involves cleaning and transforming raw data into structured formats.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to API requests and data processing is a key responsibility.
• The engineer will continuously improve the project/application by optimizing performance, enhancing features, and implementing best practices.
• Generating, analyzing, and visualizing reports using Tableau to support business decisions is required.
• The position includes creating and managing dashboards, filters, and data visualizations to provide insights.
• Collaboration with teams to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 2+ years of working experience as a Data Engineer.
• Knowledge of Python, with a focus on data processing and automation, is required.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms is necessary.
• A solid understanding of data structures and the usage of Pandas for data manipulation is expected.
• Experience with SQL for querying and managing datasets is required.
• The ability to create and interpret reports and dashboards is essential.
• A basic understanding of financial concepts and working with financial data is preferred.
• Basic experience with Docker is a plus.
